The Pittsburgh Foundation: Small and Mighty Grants Program

In 2018 CEAC partnered with The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Small and Mighty Grants program to conduct an external evaluation. The Small and Mighty Grants program provides grants of up to $15,000 to smaller, community-based organizations with operating budgets under $600,000 and serve the community’s most underserved populations and neighborhoods. To be eligible for the grants, organizations must provide services that offer basic needs including food, housing, healthcare, childcare, education, or employment. Priority in funding is provided to organizations that work with youth between the ages of 12 and 24, single women with children, are located in economically distressed and/or underserved neighborhoods, or serve racial or ethnic groups that may be disproportionately impacted by poverty.
